Maybe I've lived in LA too long

Post by John Q. Public »

Or maybe I wouldn't know her from Adam anyway.

I had to pick the Foreign Babe up at the airport today. So I'm standing around at the Bradley Terminal waiting for her to emerge from the customs tunnel and some chick comes out with a dog. I says to myself, "A dog???" Spend enough time at the International Terminal and you see people coming out of the tunnel with a lot of weird things, but that was the first dog I've seen - at least the first one that looked like it had had its own ticket or didn't have a vest of some kind.

So the FB appears, we say our greetings and head for the parking lot. We go by the lady with the dog and I say to the FB, "What's with the dog?" She says, "Oh. She's Hilary Swank." I say, "Oh."

Maybe she brought it along to help pull that luggage cart...was she shouting "mush!"?

That's what I was wondering about. Even after they landed there was no patch of grass to be had. But people take their dogs with them pretty regularly. They're just usually in kennels.

Omar, there's probably nothing like a dog that hasn't peed in 9 or 10 hours to help pull your luggage cart up the ramp.

Was on a trip to Phoenix last month and I heard some light barking in front of me. Kind of surprised me, this dog is looking over the seat at me. I soon found out there were 7 dogs on board, no kennels and they strategically placed them throughout the cabin as not to have them in contact with each other. All 7 were pretty quiet. All 7 were with hot babes. Win win

I have traveled with cats a few times. To Tokyo from Seattle. From Tokyo to Boise, Idaho. From Tokyo to LAX. They are tranquilized and put under the seat. Never allow them to put your pets in the cargo area because they cannot guarantee that you will ever see him or her again.

From Honolulu to Tokyo too.
Who in their right mind uses a welcome sign to mean people who would come into their home uninvited, paid by their neighbors who are using their illegal labor, overrun the neighborhood, and refuse to leave?
