My company had a contest — Global Insight Trip — with simple rules:
Team of 3 (diverse as possible)
Pick a place anywhere in the world you would go for 1 week with a $12,000 budget.
Why you want to go there and what you would get out of it.
Out of 1200 employees and almost every country submitted my team won. We leave this Friday for Romania and Ukraine (all on the company’s dime ).
Here’s our itinerary: https://mapsengine.google.com/map/edit? ... paRVMG9Oj4
not yet.. we're in Brasov right now.. very goddy hotel.. the toilet paper is pink. go on my Facebook and make your pick for the most. goddy room.. I think I got. it.. Vila Trapez.
the rooms in both hotels have been interesting. there is a slot inside the room you have to put your keycard in order to turn on the lights. and it has to stay in there. so it kinda sucks if you want to leave your room but you need to charge a phone or something... you can't
You can put almost any card in that slot, it does not have to be the room key.
Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountain is going home; that wildness is necessity;John Muir http://www.quotesdaddy.com

this jet lag sucks
Our first morning in Romania we were sitting at a signal and snapped a picture of a fat partially clad guy talking to a guy on the street. Check out the guy on the street!
